In the modern world we spend so much time disconnected from ourselves... everyone is JUST SO BUSY! We allow ourselves to forget how important it is to give ourselves a break, to slow down and connect. By taking the time to mindfully move the body, breathe fully and eat well we can feel refreshed, nourished and able to deal with life challenges.
Our lives are so full. Full of fabulous friends, family and jam-packed diaries. It's wonderful really. However, we rarely get to just.....stop. To focus on being mindful of how we're moving, eating or even breathing. If you're getting to a weekly yoga or pilates class, going for a run or getting in a spot of tai chi you're doing well, (to be honest sometimes just sitting down and having a hot cup of tea uninterrupted feels like an achievement).
